Never miss another post
This has been awesome, as a fellow AP Slot player I agree pretty wholeheartedly. I operate out of Vegas and it’s so tough when you walk through 15 casinos in a day and see over 50 vultures.
I think this episode should have waited for April 1st.
I guess your comment implies you don’t believe what Prax said was true. Believe that if you like. Richard and I both found what he said to be very believable. We both know some of the rudiments of advantage slot machine play and know players who make their living that way. We understand what it means to be a winning player in a casino and try to have such players on our show as guests.
Come on, Bob, even Richard had no clue how his claims could be possible. Remember him commenting on how he had never heard of this extreme advantage slot play?
I love the show and have literally never doubted a guest; but this guy was obviously pulling your legs.
Did you do any research into this guy? If you did and believe him, I may retract my statement; as I do respect you and Richard.
However, I could hear the disbelief in Richard for sure. This guy sounded far, far too good to be true with his advantage slot play. He sounded way beyond slot club profiting, progressive play, loss rebates, finding machines in positive states, etc.
Either this guy would an unintentional software bug or he is FOS.
Speaking of which, I would be very interested in reading a column about how you vet your guests.
How do you keep hucksters, liars, exaggerators, touts, etc off of your airwaves?
Any chance of an article on this?

Another great article would be about how Predictit went down on election night for hours. This caused many people to remain stuck in positions.
When it finally came online, it was a mad dash to trade on the latest info.
It is always hard to know for sure about a guest before they come on. Usually they get recommended by someone we know. But how well we know “someone” can vary a lot. I believe there was at least one episode in the past where we recorded it and then decided not to air it.
Bob has to write an article every week so maybe he will pick this up as a topic.
I’ve played some advantage play slots and the margins can be huge. Even with COVID , this has been my most profitable year yet at slots. If I were doing it full time, even knowing just what I know, 6 figures would be very achievable.
I don’t doubt he is making a very good wage.
It seems what Prax is doing is not what I would consider slot hustling. I walk around and check out machines that can be in an advantageous state. Like Las Vegas Lit. I can see I might need only two more spins until the seventh bonus lock spin and already am eligible for the wheel spin. No way do I need a 10 k bankroll to do that and put 10k miles on my car. It sounds like his team and him are catching banks of must hit by slots. This to me seems different than slot hustling Piggy Bankin.
This seems to be a catch-all term at this point. There is more than one way to skin a cat.
What’s in a name? Whether you are playing a Piggy Bank machine in an advantageous state or running $20K through a big must by, they are both playing machines in an advantageous state. Why should the bankroll requirement give it a different name?
I play video poker at an advantage for quarters to dollars. Bob Dancer plays $5 and up machines. We both play at an advantage. He just plays at a much higher dollar level.
AP slot play is as real as card counting. Not only do the best players play +EV games, but they have dozens of players cards. So, they drive around the country picking up $500 or $1,000/week in freeplay off of each card! Drawings and promotions also add up, but using players cards to your advantage is super powerful. These people aren’t just running around picking off a couple $1 spins of Ocean Magic.
No one is pulling your leg; they just aren’t giving you complete information as to what they are doing and how/why it works.
